Once a story has been added to your collection, you may begin personalising it.
Each story consists of visible pages. A video reading may be associated with each page.
You may record your own video reading for any page in the story.
This allows the story to gradually become personal.
Replacing the reading for a page
When you record a video for a page, your video becomes associated with that page in your version of the story.
The written page itself remains unchanged.
This ensures that the structure of the story stays consistent, while allowing the reading to become familiar and personal.
You may choose to record:
- one page
- several pages
- or the entire story over time
There is no requirement to complete everything at once.
Video is optional
If a page does not yet have a personal video reading, the page remains fully visible and readable.
The child can still open the story and read it normally.
A message indicates that no video has been recorded for that page.
This allows you to personalise gradually, without affecting the usability of the story.
Reviewing and replacing recordings
After recording a page, you can review the video.
If you are satisfied, you keep it.
If not, you may record it again.
This makes the process low-risk and flexible. Nothing is final until you are comfortable with it.
Building familiarity over time
As more pages are personalised, the story increasingly reflects your own voice and presence.
The child sees the page and sees you reading it.
This familiarity strengthens the connection between the story and the relationship it represents.
AlwinBridge™ supports this gradual transformation, allowing stories to evolve naturally at your own pace.
